In this instance of the submitted application for the discharge of condition, brick box specification, bird box location as well as a bird brick images document and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 10 of application 22/00399/B with the understanding that the development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details.

1.0 Description
1.1 The proposed application 22/00399/B for the proposed demolition of existing farmhouse and outbuildings and redevelopment to provide replacement dwelling was approved on 16/01/2023 subject to 19 conditions some of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 10 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy.

23/10111/AIR 1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:
1.0 Description
1.1 The proposed application 22/00399/B for the proposed demolition of existing farmhouse and outbuildings and redevelopment to provide replacement dwelling was approved on 16/01/2023 subject to 19 conditions some of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 10 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy.
1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:
"C10. Prior to works commencing, plans should be submitted to Planning for written approval containing details of a couple of integrated house sparrow nest boxes (or starling nest boxes which would allow entry by either house sparrow or starling) to be built into the property on the north, west or east elevation, at least 2m above ground level. The development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To provide adequate safeguards for the ecological species existing on the site."
2.0 Proposal
2.1 The applicant's agent have now submitted an application for the discharge of condition, brick box specification, bird box location and bird brick images which shows details of the proposed house sparrow and starling bricks that they intend to use and there locations which will be 2m above ground level.
3.0 Consultation
3.1 The DEFA Ecopolicy Officer was consulted for advice on the satisfaction of condition. The advice received on 11/10/2023, after their review of the submitted documents, concludes that they are pleased to confirm that the information satisfies the relevant clauses.
4.0 Recommendation
4.1 In this instance of the submitted application for the discharge of condition, brick box specification, bird box location as well as a bird brick images document and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 10 of application 22/00399/B with the understanding that the development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details.
