In relation to Condition 4 of the approval, the submitted details, Cover Letter and Site Plans, received 19.06.23 and the email correspondence received 20.06.23 which explain where fencing is to be placed across the site as well as measurements of fencing to be used are deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome as recommended by the case officer and would be satisfactory to discharge the planning conditions No. 4 of this planning application.

Officer’s Report
1.0 Description 1.1 The proposed application 23/00386/C for the temporary change of use of site for a family festival with associated day parking, camping and motorhomes for 30th June to 2nd July 2023 and 28th to 30th June 2024 and 27th to 29th June 2025 was approved on 09/05/2023 subject to 4 conditions one of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 4 which the applicants are seeking to discharge.
1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:

Within 3 weeks of the date of the decision notice, details of the fencing to be erected, in particular along the south west boundary of the site, shall be submitted to the Department. The fencing shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details for the duration of each event.
Reason: To protect the amenity of the adjacent properties."
2.0 Proposal 2.1 The applicant have now submitted a cover letter which details where heras fencing is intended to be put, which will have coverings to protect neighbours privacy as well as fencing at the food vans to help with loose litter. Also sent in is a site map highlighting the locations of the additional fencing in pink highlighter as well as email correspondence confirming the measurements of the heras fencing panels that they intend to use. Proposed fencing covers neighbouring properties from the site and are tall enough to provide adequate privacy.
3.0 Recommendation 3.1 In this instance of the submitted cover letter, site plans as well as email correspondence and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be satisfactory to discharge the planning condition 4 of application 23/00386/C.
