Note In relation to Conditions 2, the submitted details are considered to be acceptable by way of providing details of bicycle storage as well as staff changing facilities and are deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome as recommended by the case officer and would be satisfactory to discharge the planning conditions No. 2 of this planning application.
The approval is given, however the conditions will not be fully satisfied until such times the works indicated on the documents and plans have been carried out in full and retained as such.

Officer’s Report
1.0 Description 1.1 The proposed application 21/01108/B for the extension to the second floor of existing office building to create additional staff amenity space and remove external porch was approved on 21.03.2023 subject to 3 conditions one of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 2 which the applicants are seeking to discharge.
1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:

"C 2. Prior to the commencement of the development hereby approved, details of Staff Cycle Shelter (shown on Drw. No. 264/002 Rev A received 7 December 2021), and the changing facilities and locker areas (referred to in Agents Correspondence received 24 November 2021), shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department. Prior to the second floor accommodation being brought into use, the Staff Cycle storage, changing facilities and locker areas shall be provided strictly in accordance with the details, and thereafter retained as such.
Reason: to ensure this development complies with the energy efficiency requirements of the Strategic Plan and to future proof the development."
2.0 Proposal 2.1 The applicant's agent have now submitted Plans of the Bicycle which include measurements and placement within the site as well as an image within the plan showing the finished look. Also submitted was Drawing GRA-00 of the proposed second floor which included changing facilities and locker areas and staff break out space.
3.0 CONSULTATION 3.1 DoI Highways DC was consulted for advice on the satisfaction of condition. The advice received on 19.05.2023, after their review of the submitted documents, concludes that they are pleased to confirm that the information satisfies the relevant clauses.
4.0 Recommendation 4.1 In this instance of the submitted Drawing GRA-00 and bicycle store plans and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be satisfactory to discharge the planning condition 2 of application 21/01108/B.
