Reason: To ensure that the building's special character and interest are preserved."
PROPOSAL
==== PAGE 2 ====
23/10030/AIR 2.1 The agent on behalf of the applicant has submitted a set of detailed drawings that include plans, sections and elevations of the proposed platform lift, and the nature and specification of the proposed finishes of the lift and its enclosure.
ANALYSIS
3.1 The submitted information includes plans and sections at a scale of 1:10, and detailed notes of the proposed finishes. The level of detail is judged to be sufficient to enable the proposed finishes to be assessed. The enclosure is proposed to be finishes in plasterboard, with timber doors, architraves and skirting boards. The use of timber is considered to be appropriate, and the enclosure walls proposed in plasterboard will enable the visible walls to be painted to match the existing pantry and kitchen walls. Overall, the proposed finishes are considered to be sufficiently sympathetic to be acceptable, given that the lift is a modern intervention intended to facilitate access for those of reduced mobility, and the enclosure's location on both floors is not prominent.
With the above comments in mind, the submitted information is considered sufficient to discharge condition 2 of PA22/00328/CON.
