In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Infrastructure does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mr Mathew Warren Proposal: Installation of replacement windows and door to front elevation at: 8 The Crofts Castletown Isle Of Man IM9 1LW
which was considered on 29th May 2012, for the reasons set out below. Date of Issue: 31st May 2012 Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas
REASON(S) FOR REFUSAL:
- The proposed windows and door to be installed in the front elevation would be constructed of uPVC, they would fail to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Castletown Conservation Area which would be contrary to Environment Policy 35 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan (20th June 2007).
This decision was made by a Senior Planning Officer in accordance with the authority delegated to them under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.

- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
