N. In relation to Condition 2 & 3 of the approval, the submitted details (Application, schedule of materials, plans and drawings for the glazed roof structure to entrance porch and the over ridge roof light for the discharge of condition 2 as well as samples of the proposed gate and railings, glazed roof structure, buscot limestone sample for the north west elevation, cast iron down pipe (with intended colour swatch) and cast aluminium pipe and gutter for the discharge of condition 3. submitted 06.06.23), are deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome as recommended by the case officer and would be satisfactory to discharge the planning conditions No. 2 & 3 of this planning application.

Officer’s Report
1.0 Description 1.1 The proposed application 22/01523/GB for the alterations including replacement doors on the north east wing, replacement of existing back door with window, new soil and rainwater pipes and replacement external steps was approved on 31/03/2023 subject to 3 conditions some of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 2 & 3 which the applicants are seeking to discharge.
1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:

23/10057/AIR "C 2. Details of Works to Registered Building No works shall take place until details of the following items, to include plans, elevations and sections at a scale of no lesser than (1:20) or have been submitted to and approved in writing by, the Department:
a) Glazed roof structure to Entrance Porch b) Over-ridge rooflight The works shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure the satisfactory preservation of this registered building." "C 3. Sample materials No development shall commence until a schedule of materials, finishes and samples of the materials to be used in the following have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Department: a) Gates and railings b) Glazed roof structure to Entrance Porch c) Terrace to North West Elevation d) Rainwater goods e) Glazed screen to end of verandah f) Over-ridge rooflight The works shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To ensure the satisfactory preservation of this registered building"
2.0 Proposal 2.1 The applicant's agent have now submitted plans and drawings for the glazed roof structure to entrance porch and the over ridge roof light for the discharge of condition 2 as well as samples of the proposed gate and railings, glazed roof structure, buscot limestone sample for the north west elevation, cast iron down pipe (with intended colour swatch) and cast aluminium pipe and gutter for the discharge of condition 3.
3.0 CONSULTATION 3.1 The Registered Buildings Team was consulted for advice on the satisfaction of condition. The advice received on 12.06.2023, after their review of the submitted documents, concludes that they are pleased to confirm that the information satisfies the relevant clauses.
4.0 Recommendation 4.1 In this instance of the submitted drawings and plans for condition 2 and the submitted samples of materials for conditions 3 and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be satisfactory to discharge the planning condition 2 & 3 of application 23/10057/AIR. __
I can confirm that this decision has been made by a Principal Planner in accordance with the authority afforded to that Officer by the appropriate DEFA Delegation and that in making this decision the Officer has agreed the recommendation in relation to who should be afforded Interested Person Status.
