ELEVATION NOTES:
WALLS: The existing cottage walls are
to receive an external cladding system
with new 19mm render system over
either with through colour white finish
or painted white with minimum 3 coats
of good quality masonry paint.
The new walls to the extension are to
be in cavity masonry construction
faced externally with a natural wood
cladding in cedar or larch set vertically.
ROOF: The existing cottage roof is to
have the asbestos cement tile removed
and a new natural slate roof (reclaimed
if possible) to the roof areas indicated.
The proposed extension is to have a
metseam metal standing seam roof in
natural matt zinc with matching eaves
and guttering systems.
WINDOWS/DOORS: The replacement
windows to the existing cottage are to
be in dark grey aluminium units. New
windows and doors to the proposed
contemporary element to be in either
aluminimum or upvc. All fitted with
double glazed units
RAINWATER GOODS: to existing
cottage to be in black metal to
replicate the existing.
To the extension to be in matching zinc
to match the roof.
