THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT PROCEDURE) ORDER 2005

In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Minister for Infrastructure, does hereby REFUSE planning application 12/00413/B by Jojay Ltd for Erection of 19 industrial units for a mixed use of general industrial and storage/distribution with associated external works and drainage at Development adjacent to BCS House, Peel Road, Braddan, Douglas, IM4 4LE for the following reason(s):

1. The proposal is contrary to General Policy 2(h) and 2(i) of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 in that the development, if approved, would be likely to generate large numbers of vehicular movements which would jeopardise the safety of highway users particularly at the junction of the site's access with Peel Road (A1) where visibility is sub-standard.
