General Policy 2
Requires development in zoned areas to respect site/surroundings in siting, scale, design; not adversely affect character, amenities, highways, or wildlife; and provide satisfactory standards. Officer assessed the non-physical change of use complies as it involves no external works, maintains zoning, and has no amenity or highway impacts in the mixed area.
Business Policy 13
Permits use of private residential properties as tourist accommodation if it does not compromise neighbouring residents' amenities. Officer tested the additional tourist use and found it would not unduly impact local residents given the commercial ground floor and vicinity of other residentials.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
