Re: P.A. No. 17/00873/B - Conversion and extension of existing store / garage to provide residential living accommodation - Building to rear of 80, Parliament Street, Ramsey for Mr. J. Cowley
I am directed to advise that the Commissioners considered the above application at their meeting held on Wednesday 20th September, 2017, and whilst they had no objection to the proposal, they made the following observations:-
- The proposed layout does not appear to provide a suitable standard of living accommodation which would normally be expected with a 2 bedroomed property.
- The proposal does not comply with the requirements of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan in respect of Parking Standards which would require 2 car parking spaces for a residential unit with 2 bedrooms.
I trust that these observations will be brought to the attention of the Planning Committee, when considering this application.
