Initial notes and or Conditions (if any) Chronology of discussion 18.08.2017 - 15.09.2017 - The proposal is to change the use of a meeting hall previously used as a place of worship to a dance school. The site has plenty of off street parking and is located near to the end of a cul de sac. The proposed use is similar to the extant use in traffic terms and provides sufficient off-street parking. There will be a noticable increase in traffic using Switzerland Road because the property has not been in use for some time. Switzerland Road is a relatively narrow road with some parking permitted on one side; it serves several properties including an apartment complex; there is no through vehicular traffic but pedestrians and cyclists can access Victoria Road. The road is lightly trafficked and should be able to accomodate the traffic generated by the proposal. Highway Services does not oppose this application.
