The Planning Committee Planning and Building Control Department of Infrastructure Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas IM1 2SF 25^{\text {th }} August 2017 Dear Sirs The following application has been considered by the Commissioners: PA 1700812/B - Ballacregga Corn Mill, Salmon Lake Centre, Mines Road, Wheel Hill, Laxey, IM4 7NL. Additional use of balcony as seating area in association with multi-function centre.

It was noted that the original planning permission for this facility did not permit use of the balcony due to concerns about noise nuisance. The effect on neighbours in the immediate vicinity needs to be assessed by the Planning Officer and the Committee. Although not a planning matter, it was also anticipated that the extended use of the balcony would need referral to the Licensing Authorities.
