I am writing with my concerns with the above application and would like to raise a few points that may affect my property, water being the main one.

On the road where one off the bedrooms (on the application) both en suite and shower rooms are, there is a ditch which continually fills and overflows and backs up to my front door and into the house when the weather is continually wet. I have showing this on video, as know one is living there at present nobody has actually witnessed the amount of water that comes down the rd and how quick the ditch fills up,

I also have concerns that another the ditch that has been there as long as the farm has now been filled in at the bottom of the garden that joins to my land and I don't feel that the land drains that are in the ground and the drains that are planned to be put in for surface water will be sufficient to stop the overflow on to my property, I have taken photos during heavy rain and did not see a drop off water coming out of the two pipes that are near to where the ditch has been filled in (one I think comes from the cargester and I would expect that to be dry at present, but the one pipe

that is to empty surface or land was also dry, and it was raining heavily at the time.

I have lived here for ten years and the water that comes on the rd past and backs up and overflows onto my property can not get away because the pipe that has been put in is to narrow and causes the water to back up to my house from the ditch that runs along the rd at the side off the proposed dwelling and is only going to make matters worse if this is not dealt with merely by putting more land drains on the property, something needs to be done with the drains on the rd also.

If the water is dealt with I would have no concerns whatsoever with the application next door to me

I have marked off on the enclosed plan in red where both ditches are.

I hope the above matters are dealt with sympathetically with the future in mind.

And if nothing is done about the water could you please tell me what recourse do I have?
