The above planning application was placed before the Environmental Services Committee of Douglas Borough Council at its meeting held on the 18th July 2016.
I would advise that the Committee agreed that the Council should object to the application on the grounds that the proposals are not in compliance with Environment Policy 31 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2016. Further, the reasons for the de-registration are unclear, and insufficient information appears to have been provided to justify de-registering a Registered Building.
