2B. 17/00631 WE NOW HAVE CHILDREN OLD ENOUGH TO DRIVE t WITH THE ADDITION OF A Jrd CAR, PARKING IS MORE DIFFICULT. OFTEN, WHEN THERE ARE EVENTS ON AT JAULAVERMEEN SCHOOL, PEOPLE PARK CLOSE TO THE EOGE OF THE DRIVE t WITH CARS PARKED ACROSS THE ROAD AS WELL, WE CAN'T ALWAYS GET ONTO THE DRIVE. WE CAN'T GET A RESIDENTIAL PARKING DISC FOR MY DAUGHTER AS SHE ONLY HAS A PROVISIONAL DRIVING LICENCE, SO WE HAVE TO PUT HER CAR ON THE DRIVE. WE BELIEVE THAT BY WIDENING THE OPENING, IF PEOPLE PARK CLOSE TO THE EOGE OF THE NEW OPENING, WE SHOULD STILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE, AS IT IS WIDER. THIS WILL ENABLE US TO PARK J CARS OFF THE ROOD. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY LOWERING THE PAVEMENT, WE LOSE A SPACE ON THE STREET BUT THAT IS NO DIFFERENT TO HAVING I CAR ON THE DRIVE t 2 ON THE STREET NOW AND IS BETTER THAN J CARS ON THE STREET WHEN WE CAN'T GET ON THE DRIVE. WE WANT TO GET THIS DONE PROPERLY + ARE HAPPY FOR THE COVERING OF THE PAVEMENT TO BE INSPECTED ETC.
IT LOOKS AS IF WE HAVE ASKED FOR QUITE A LARGE SECTION OF PAVEMENT TO BE COVERED. IT POESN'T HAVE TO BE QUITE SO WIDE, IT WAS JUST THAT THE CONTRACTOR WHO COCKED AT IT SAID IT WOULD BE EASIER TO GO UP TO THE UNES IN THE PAVEMENT THAT SIGNIFIES A SECTION OF PAVEMENT - I HAVE TRIED TO SHOW THIS ON THE PICTURES.
