We'd like to provide disabled access between two of our buildings. We propose building a single story extension which would bridge a 3.6 metre gap between two buildings. The extension we would be used for a disabled ramp to connect the two buildings. The extension would be clad in the same steel material and matching olive green colour as the other two buildings. \square 13. We currently have a smaller link building which has steps to overcome the 110cm change in elevation but persons not able to use the steps need to exit the buildings and go through the car park to reach the toilets and cafe area. The extension would be clad in the same steel material and matching olive green colour as the other two buildings.
I've contacted the fisheries department and discussed that we have a drain within 9 metres of the site and what actions we need to take. I've contacted the forestry department and discussed the conifer trees that are within 15 metres and they have no concerns.
