Environment Policy 3
ENV3 states that development will not be permitted where it would result in the unacceptable loss of or damage to woodland areas, especially ancient, natural and semi-natural woodlands, which have public amenity or conservation value. The officer assessed the removal of three specific trees (beech, sycamore, ash) against this policy, noting they were diseased, unstable, and of low amenity value, with healthy lime trees nearby as replacements. The minor alterations were deemed not to cause unacceptable harm to the private woodland/parkland zoning.
