The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning applications:

• 16/01143/B Mr K Quane and Mrs S McMahon – Baldromma Beg Jurby Road Lezayre – Ground floor extensions to dwelling – Mrs Quane declared an interest and did not take part in the discussion. Approved Unanimous.

• 16/01192/B Mr R Price – Ballacannell Dhoor – Replacement of garage door with a doorway. Approved Unanimous.

• 16/01211/B Miss K Teare and Mr J Dormer Clenagh Veg Clenagh Road Sulby Lezayre – Erection of a replacement dwelling. Approved 4-1 Majority

  The Commissioners point out that the proposed dwelling will be much taller than the surrounding properties as its ridge is some 2 metres taller than the existing building. They would also point out that according to the search carried out for the sale of this property in 2013 the sale included two further fields to the north of those shown on the site location plan.
