| Subject: | RE: Peel Town Commissioners Planning Application Consultation Responses |
Dear Sirs,
The Peel Town Commissioners considered the following planning applications at their Board meeting on 17 November 2015 and they do not object to the proposals contained within these applications:
15/01166/B: Remove existing cement slates from main roof and replace with marley rivendale slates 24 Stanley Road, Peel
15/01191/B: Single storey extension to create a new kitchen and utility room, over coating of existing sashed walls and smooth render, 10 Close Quane, Peel
The Commissioners object to 15/01236/B: Replacement of existing windows with heritage style sliding sash double glazed windows, 34 Market Street, Peel The Commissioners believe this sandstone property is in a prominent, high profile position on the junction of Market Street and Charles Street within the Peel conservation area. The photographs of the new windows in white PVC create a modern look to this property which can be viewed by the public as they travel along Market Street towards the Promenade.
Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours Faithfully
Derek Sewell Town Clerk Peel Town Commissioners
