Following consideration of the planning application listed below, I can advise that Douglas Borough Council wishes to raise an objection to the proposals.

The Council believes that the narrowing of the footway to 1500 mm would have an unacceptable impact upon the free movement of pedestrians.

If the available space were to be increased to 2000 mm the Council may well look upon the application more favourably.
