Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan requires business park uses to have car parking at 1 space per 15 sq m net floorspace, with buildings in a parkland setting that dominates the landscape. The proposal exceeds this ratio (1 per 12 sq m) due to demonstrated demand and lack of on-street parking, but officer deemed it acceptable as it prevents highway safety issues without losing landscaping.
Time limit
The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice. Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
Parking availability
The additional spaces and cycle parking provided as a result of this approval must be available for users of the site edged blue, at all times. Reason: To ensure that the development has adequate car parking in association with its use.
