Tel 01624 685950 Miss P Newton 2 Glen View South Cape Laxey TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure)(No 2) Order 2013 In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to APPROVE an application by Redmayne Investments Ltd, Ref 14/00100/B, for the Demolition of existing hotel and erection of an apartment block containing fifteen units for either residential or tourist use with associated parking (comprising amendments to PA 12/01540/B) at Grosvenor Hotel Promenade Port Erin Isle Of Man IM9 6LA subject to compliance with the following condition(s) and notes (if any) : 1. The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice. Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals. 2. Prior to the occupation of any of the residential apartments or tourist apartments all the basement parking and undercroft parking must be available for use only by those occupying the apartments hereby approved. Reason: To ensure that sufficient provision is made for off-street parking and turning of vehicles in the interests of highway safety. 3. No development shall commence until a samples of all external facing materials to be used have been submitted and approved in writing by the Planning Authority. The development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details. Reason: In the interests of the character and appearance of the site and surrounding area. Drawings reference numbers 8033-L01, 8033-L02, 8033-L03, 8033-L04, 8033-L05, 8033- P15B, 8033-P16B, 8033-P17F, 8033-P18B, 8033-P19, 8033-P21A and 8033-P22 received on 27th January 2014 and 19th June 2014. This permission refers only to that required under the The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure)(No 2) Order 2013. Any appeal against this decision must be in accordance with the criteria set down in that instrument. Specifically, a valid appeal must be in writing, signed by the appellant, and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice. To further validate the appeal it must contain: · Payment of a planning appeal fee as prescribed in the Town and Country Planning (Application and Appeal Fees) (No2) Order 2015 (currently £165); · The reasons for making the appeal; and · An election to have the appeal conducted by means of an inquiry (a hearing) or by means of written representation.
