Description of works - as detailed on Table 1.
lJnis application accompanies a planning application to relocate Eastfield substation and
decommission the existing building. A structural survey of the existing substation building has
identified significant problems which are beyond economic repair. This application covers the
demolition of the existing Substation Building down to ground floor slab level. The building is
not actually registered, but is located on the edge of a conservation area. Discussions have been
held with the conservation officer in August 2014.
