Conservation Officer's Report on Discharge of Conditions

This is an application to discharge Condition 3 relating to Registered Building Consent 12/01376/CON for re-location of clock (RB no196 in association with 12/01327/B) to Jubilee Clock, Victoria Street, Douglas. Condition 3 is as follows:

C 3.

"Prior to any works commencing on the relocation of the Registered Building, details of the proposed base including all materials and finishes shall be submitted to and approved by the Planning Authority (including the Conservation Officer). The submitted information and details should include samples of all materials as indicated on drawing D1/104. The works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details."

The applicant submits drawing number 11.516 100 P3 entitled 'Jubilee Clock Area & New Clock Base' which includes details of the clock base. In addition, the applicant submits photos of samples of the 'flamed Kobra (light grey to match colour in paving blend) granite plinth' and details of the remaining surface finishes as found on Drawing D1/104. The information supplied is considered sufficient to recommend the discharge of this Condition.
