Environment Policy 35
EP35 states that within Conservation Areas, the Department will permit only development which preserves or enhances the character or appearance of the Area, and ensures protection of special features. The officer assessed the replacement windows against this, noting they replicate the existing casement style, opening method, glazing bars, and stained glass. This was found to preserve the character without inappropriate impact.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
