P.O. BOX NO. 2, TOWN HALL, RIDGEWAY STREET, DOUGLAS, ISLE OF MAN, IM99 1AD TELEPHONE: (01624) 696300 Douglas Borough Council has also given consideration to PA 20/01275/B Installation of a replacement front door (retrospective) 13 Berkeley Street Douglas Isle Of Man IM2 3QB.
Although the Council is not objecting to PA 20/01275/B as the work has already been carried out we do wish to express our dissatisfaction with the application. This is a conservation area and the applicant should have sought preplanning advice prior to the installation of the door. Given the application is for retrospective approval the Council has taken the decision on this occasion to not object however there may have been a different decision made if the work had not already been undertaken.
Yours sincerely,
S Salter Dilapidation Enforcement Officer Direct Line: 01624 696394 E mail: [email protected]
