Re: Planning Application Ref.20/01208/B
My objections to this latest application for buildings in this field are the same as those I made to the other applications and appeals. All that has changed is that there are now half a dozen small coops packed full of hens, cockerels and turkeys and the first lot of pigs with a pig 'shed' to justify the need for big sheds to store their food. There are many concerns which the application does not address:
- Are these new sheds or will the existing sheds be extended with a bit of 'cladding' added?
- Is retrospective permission being sought for the concrete hard standing for the sheds and the strip which was once once intended for solar panels and which was refused?
- Will the existing sheds come down before 'new' ones are erected?
- Will the 'new' sheds be built from new wood or from wood taken the existing sheds or the wood which has been lying in the field for the past few years?
- Why is there still a motorhome parked in the field a year after the applicant lost his last appeal to keep one there?
- Why would we expect that the 2 proposed sheds would blight the rural landscape and the field which I pass everyday as I go down my lane any less than those standing in the field at the moment and which were considered a blight at the last planning refusal?
I am objecting:
- Because of the negative visual impact of the sheds.
- The applicant seeks to justify a need for site development by introducing into the field an assortment of poultry and pigs whose numbers he intends to increase.
- This envisaged intensive poultry production business with noise and smells is out of keeping close to three nearby residential dwellings at Ballacrye.
