General Policy 2
GP2 permits development in residential zoning if it respects site/surroundings (b), does not adversely affect landscape/townscape character (c), protects resident amenity (g), provides satisfactory access/parking (h), and avoids road safety issues (i). The officer assessed the amended extension against these, finding reduced glazing and planting mitigate privacy/overlooking impacts on No. 7, while design matches the dwelling and causes no visual or amenity harm. Previous refusal highlighted GP2(g) failure due to excessive overlooking, now resolved.
Time limit
The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice. Reason: To comply with Article 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
