Jessups would like to replace the existing timber frame, sliding sash, single pane windows with white UPVC vertical sliding sash double glazed windows, on first and second floor. On ground floor they would like to replace the stained timber casement, top hung, double glazed windows with UPVC vertical sliding sash, double glazed windows on the sides of the oriel bay, and UPVC fixed frame, double glazed windows to the centre of the oriel bay. This will help improve the energy efficiency of their offices. They would also like to introduce dentils under the oriel bay gutter to break up the bay fascia as it seems imposing. Then they would like to paint the dark timber stained fascia and base to the oriel window a colour to match the colour of the building walls, so that the oriel window fits better with the building. Please see drawing with application. Jessups don't want to have the same glazing bars pattern on the new windows. They believe that:
