Following discussions with Colvyn Quaggin Manx Utilities are happy that the work will not involve excavations over the cable and should we need to access the cables in the event of a fault there are a number of options open to us.
Can you please remove our objection to this Planning Application.

Please see below for our comments on the above application.
Ref: PA 20/00320/B Erection of two timber storage sheds adjacent to existing storage shed, Great Laxey Mine Railway, Laxey Valley Gardens, Glen Road, Garff.
Please be advised that we object to this planning application as there are high and low voltage underground cables located in the area of the storage sheds.
For full assistance please contact our Cable Engineer, Network Operations Department, Manx Utilities Authority, (t: 687687) to discuss working practices around underground cables which may be required to be diverted before any work can be carried out on site. Please contact the Manx Utilities for Electrical Site Safety 5 documents, (t: 687766), before any work is carried out on site. All work to be carried out with reference to Health and Safety Executive Guidance Notes HS(G)47 & GS6. Manx Utilities will not accept liability for any costs incurred for this work.
