Highways Comments:
The application proposes to change the premises to light industry which triggers a car parking requirement of 1
space per 30 sq m.
Based on the floor area that is approximately 1570 sq m this equates to over 50 parking spaces.
Whilst it is acknowledged that this maybe significant above what the applicants requires, the change of use part
of this application has to be addressed in terms of the parking requirement and access.
With regard to the access, traffic generation would also be a material consideration therefore, the safe and
practical operation of the access would need to be better understood.
Based on the fact that there is no information in relation to the above, the proposals are not considered as
submitted.
