The comment stated; Planning Application 19/01455/C ? Change of use - Unit 2 Block C Eden Business Park, IM2 2AY With reference to the above planning application we have the following concerns and would appreciate further information with regard to the possible effect on our neighbouring business. a. We are concerned about possible chlorine odour and affect of a damp atmosphere on the units. b. Are any of the chemicals used for the treatment of the pool water corrosive with possible effects on adjoining walls, floors and contents ? c. What is the construction material of the pool with regard to the possibility of leaks ? d. The plans show that the pool is hard against the right hand side with the potential problem of water splashing, and damp ingress to the wall. The same concern applies to the shower area.
e. Is there potential for noise being generated from the following sources?
Will there be any additional soundproofing installed particularly as there is no mezzanine meaning that it will be a large open area with little sound deadening content?
Whilst not wishing to discourage any business from locating to Eden Business Park we feel that perhaps this change of use is out of keeping with light industrial premises. Relationship to site: Immediately adjacent to the site
