Mountain View is a multi-functional site catering to a wide range of service users. Monday to Friday during working hours, as well as providing office space and infrastructure for the AFD Group which comprises the main business on site, the centre offers a memberships scheme which allows the wider community access to the facilities providing flexible co-working options, a creative and supportive environment for start-ups and entrepreneurs to turn good ideas into successful enterprises. Taking a holistic approach to the site we pride ourselves on the many environmental initiatives in play onsite, we currently have the largest Solar array on the island and have an UNESCO Biosphere award winning electric car scheme.

Having made multi-million-pound investment in the site, we are keen to extend the planning provision to provide additional facilities and services to benefit the community and other small businesses. During evenings and weekends, our venues can be used commercially and we offer this to charity, community or church groups at heavily reduced rates. We have seen awards ceremonies for local sports clubs, the facilitation of the largest public meeting on the Island with regards the Ramsey marina proposal, large scale fundraising celebration for a local charity. In order to compete with other venues, we'd like to extend the site opening hours to facilitate these events to run with our alcohol and music license which is until 12pm.

Mountain View is ideally placed on the outskirts of Ramsey with its entrance / exit coming out onto the A13 Jurby Road which is a major road therefore not putting additional burden onto a lesser used road. We recently improved the visibility for traffic exiting Mountain View and the speed limit has been reduced to 40 mph .
