This is a retrospective application. Mr and Mrs Holoway were led to believe some time ago the wall to the boundary of their property onto West Baldwin Road was unsafe. They had the wall taken down without realizing they required planning permission. In making this retrospective application they would like to take this opportunity to tidy up this area and wish to replace the wall with a new fence and pedestrian gate creating an area to conceal refuse bins which currently sit by the highway and are visible to passers-by. The fence and pedestrian gate are to be constructed in treated timber. The existing white painted stone pier and small wall are to remain and the fence is designed to fit in and around these retained features.
