The window (1.2mtrx0.9mtr) inserted in the west facing wall of the garage was to allow more natural light into the garage and negate the use of fluorescent lighting in the daytime As the surrounding boundary hedges and trees are now limiting natural light into the garage. The occupier of No 41 has previously removed the trees from a 4.5 mtr section of joint boundary and replaced them with a 2 Mtr wooden fence on his side and I have done the same on my side. 13. Apologies as I wasn't aware I needed planning permission for a window in a garage. Especially one that faced a corner with a 2mtr wooden fencing and 4mtr high boundary hedges. Looking at the previous applications I can only assume that as they wanted a first floor adding to the garage and the border fences were in their infancy this would have affected the privacy of surrounding properties. This is not the case now and there is only one window in a neighboring property that can just be seen
