Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find appended below the Commissioners' observations regarding the following planning application:

18/00993/C: Creation of campsite for the weeks covering TT and MGP with existing toilet and shower facility. Glebe Farm, Main Road, Kirk Michael, Isle of Man IM6 2HD. Applicant: Carolyn Mary Stephenson.

The Commissioners have no objection to this temporary campsite for the TT and MGP, but would like to ask for the operators to provide litter bins for the campers. Last year litter was thrown/blown all down the Orrisdale road and railway line, due to no bins being provided. Also, the Commissioners have asked that the operators bolt lock the gate to the railway line, so that the motorbikes do not use it. It was reported last year that the motorbikes were using the railway line to race to one point and back. The Commissioners are very worried that a child or an adult out walking could be badly injured if this allowed to continue.

The Commissioners hope that their comments are noted and included if the application is approved.
