Description: Additional use of residential dwelling as tourist living accommodation
Highway Comments: The parking standards in 'The Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2016' require 2 car parking spaces for a dwelling. There is an existing attached garage. The existing driveway is served by dropped kerbs and can accommodate 2 parked cars which complies with the parking standards.
There should be no increase in traffic or parking demand for the proposed tourist use of the dwelling compared to the current residential use. The proposals would not involve any changes to the existing site access and parking arrangements, and therefore no new highway issues should arise.
