Could this foundation design by a structural engineer be part of the planning conditions - to be submitted as part of the building control application? I am currently doing the revised building regs application this week so it'd be good to get some idea of a solution for the client.

Would it be possible for a structural engineer to design the footings, to then be looked at by your department with a view to coming up with a possible solution?
I understand the concerns of Manx Utilities but as you can see the proposed development is not extensive.
