To whom it may concern,
We wish to make an objection to the proposed planning application 1800236B, on property 81 Anagh Coar Road, Douglas, Isle of Man.
Our neighbor Mr Peter Heginson has submitted a planning application to build a ground floor WC on the front of his property which ajoins our property Number 79. We feel that the proposed extension will have a detrimental effect on our property by blocking light from our lounge, it will overshadow our window due to its proximity and height making our lounge dark and hemmed in. Also as we look out from our lounge window we will be looking at a solid wall which we feel will be dominant, overbearing and in our line of sight. No other properties on our estate have built similar extensions of this type so it will not be in keeping with the area. We are also have concerns that the footings of the proposed extension will encroach onto our land as it is not clear from the plans if the proposed extension is right up to our boundary. On the front elevation drawing it doesn't appear to reach the boundary line yet on the overhead view it comes up to our property line. Another concern is the drainage and how it will effect our property as we have a shared sewerage pipe running from number 81 down through our property and then down the road.
Yours Sincerely Mr Joedy Scarffe & Mrs Joanne Scarffe</[email protected]>
