In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Tree Preservation Act 1993 the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture hereby grant to you licence:

(or in the case of registered trees) to top or lop the trees specified in the Schedule below in the manner set out in that Schedule.
