Proposal: Variation of condition 1 of PA 13/91300/B for the demolition of existing and erection of a replacement dwelling, to extend the period of approval for a further four years
Whilst we have no objection to the dwelling, we think it a GREAT MISTAKE that the Ash Tree has to be felled.
It would be further from the new dwelling than the present cottage, so we see no logical need to fell it.
Since the original Consent was given, healthy Ash Trees have started to become more valuable in the countryside as some are being lost due to Ash Die-Back.
We would think that this is a reasonable factor in now including a Condition that it be retained, notwithstanding that a body, other than the Panning Authority, has given felling consent.
