The proposals are to change the use of the site from
retail to a dance studio.
It is difficult to assess what the traffic patterns of the
dance studio will be in comparison with a retail useage.
Whilst there are 2 spaces associated with the existing
use, there are concerns over the potential peak in car
parking demand during drop off and pick up times.
Notwithstanding the submitted evidence in support of the
application, further details are required to fully
understand how the traffic generation from the proposed
use would impact on the surrounding parking associated
with the other units.
It is recommended the applicant arrange a meeting to
discuss the proposals in more detail with Highways prior
to final comments.
