Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 13 October and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 23/01039/B · 23/01099/C · 23/01136/B · 23/01156/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 23/01110/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking subject to the garages, parking and driveway layout on the approved plan to be implemented before first occupation of the dwelling and stables. . The Applicant is advised to consider an EV charging point on the site. · 23/01116/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the relatively small size of the proposals that would create a negligible increase use of the existing vehicular access, subject to the proposals being conditioned as holiday accommodation for the lifetime of the development. · 23/01144/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 23/01157/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking providing the proposals remain ancillary to the existing dwelling. · 23/01158/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the sustainable location of the proposals, parking restrictions on surrounding streets and the likely slow speed of vehicles around garage entrances. Conditions for garages to be used for vehicles and bin stores and be implemented before first occupation, and new garage door for apartment 2 on approved plans shall not swing onto the adopted highway, should all be conditioned on permission. · 23/01164/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as it is a modest increase in use of the existing access, subject to access, parking and layout on approved plans being implemented before first occupation of the dwellings. · 23/01168/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the relatively large size of the car park that can accommodate a vending unit without significantly detrimentally effecting visitor parking.

· 23/01182/D – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 23/01185/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is on-street parking available for the intensification and existing demand of the dwelling.
