General Policy 2
GP2 requires development to respect land-use zoning, with paragraph 8.12.1 favouring residential development in residential areas. The officer assessed the proposal against tests (b, c, g) relating to amenity, character, and design, finding it compliant as the dormer is subordinate and the extension acceptable in this predominantly residential zone.
Environment Policy 42 - character and need to adhere to local distinctiveness
