From the Planning List 3 March 2023 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:

The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 23/00224/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 23/00226/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that to consider installing an electric vehicle charging point to aid net zero objectives. Plus, that Highway Licences will be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00228/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that to consider installing cycle parking storage to aid Active Travel objectives. · 23/00231/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that Highway Licences may be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00232/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The provision of cycle parking is welcomed. The amount of car parking is similar to the existing, and leases will need to specify how the car parking is to be allocated given the four spaces instead of the six usually needed to meet the standard minimum of one space per unit before accounting for any relaxation which is considered acceptable at this location. The Applicant is advised that Highway Licences may be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00240/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that Highway Licences may be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00242/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 23/00243/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.

The Applicant is advised that Highway Licences may be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00263/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that Highway Licences may be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00265/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that Highway Licences may be necessary for any equipment and materials to be placed within the highway for the duration of the proposed works. · 23/00287/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking given previous planning approvals. Arrangements for travel to and from site are predominately non- car based. Consideration should be given to repeating condition 3 of PA22/00102/B on visibility, , and restricting use to the 2023 and 2024 TT periods as well as to cover the duration for erection, dismantling necessary, plus for any necessary ground reinstatement at end of period. Highway licences may be necessary for advance signing on the highway.
