The proposal seeks permission for the existing 5 bedroom residential property to also be used as selfcatering tourist accommodation. The proposal would not change the existing site access arrangements. Visibility is poor from the site access road but there is a mirror located opposite it on the highway. There is sufficient room on the site to accommodate several parked cars and on-site turning manoeuvres. The proposed use as tourist accommodation should not create any additional traffic or parking demand compared to the current use as a dwelling. Highway Services does not oppose the application.
