The proposal would convert the existing two storey storage area into a two bedroom duplex apartment. The parking standards in 'The Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2016' require 2 car parking spaces for a two bedroom apartment. There is no existing parking on the site and there is no room to provide such. However, the site is adjacent to the town centre pedestrianised area of Malew Street, and public car parking is available in the town centre which should satisfy the parking demand generated by the development. Highway Services do not oppose this application. Recommendation: DNO
