There are 3 existing driveway spaces at the property and the proposed garage would require the removal of one of these spaces. The garage would be of 2.2m x 4m in size which is too small for a car to park and not in accordance with the minimum of 3m x 6m in the Department of Infrastructure's 'Manual for Manx Roads' document. The parking standards require 2 spaces and therefore the retention of 2 driveway spaces is considered to be acceptable. In view of this, Highway Services do not oppose the application. Recommendation: DNO
