## Representation from the Department of Infrastructure (DOI) Highways Division–

The proposal would create a new single garage at the location of the existing parking space at the rear of the site. The existing vehicular access to the site along the back street from Falkland Drive, which is 4m wide and can accommodate single file traffic, would remain unchanged. The garage would be of a sufficient size to accommodate a car, and would have a door width of 3m which should be adequate to allow a car to manoeuvre into and out of the garage due to its location at the junction of two back streets from Falkland Drive and Royal Avenue. The proposal would retain one car parking space at the property and therefore Highway Services do not oppose the application subject to the following planning condition: The garage shown on drawing no. PTA-195-03 dated November 2017 shall remain available to park a car. Reason: To ensure that the strategic plan car parking standards are met in the interest of highway
