Hi Helen, Dawn, From the Planning List 11 August 2023 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and reconsultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:  23/00936/B

The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:

-  23/00883/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider installing cycle parking in an enclosed and secure storage facility to aid Active Travel, and to install EV charging to aid Net Zero objectives.
-  23/00898/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking, subject to the garage door conditioned to not overhang or swing at any point onto the public highway when opened.
-  23/00925/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The applicant is advised to install an EV charging point to aid Net Zero objectives.
-  23/00932/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking, as additional off-street parking in the area is welcomed. Conditions on no surface water run-off from onto the public highway, and the access and exit gradients being no than 7% for the first 6m from the public highway.
-  23/00966/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.
